 Welcome to Keep Bangor Beautiful!
Keep Bangor Beautiful is a local nonprofit corporation - a 501(C)(3) - that exists to support local recycling and city beautification efforts. Since 1991, Keep Bangor Beautiful has been a strong advocate of Bangor’s Recycling Program and local beautification efforts, and has worked to raise funds in support of those issues.
Keep Bangor Beautiful shares Board representation with the Bangor Convention Visitors Bureau and the Bangor Center Corporation and is a member of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce and the Maine Association of Nonprofits.
One hundred percent of our annual operating budget is raised through private and corporate donations, membership fees, and the production of the Bangor Garden Show. There is an executive director, a 15-member Board of Directors, 50 members and literally hundreds of dedicated volunteers.
